CAPC museum of contemprary art Bordeaux
During my daily wanderings through the streets of Amsterdam, I observe and write.
Through these words, I explore the unnoticed beauty of what surrounds us—things that no one looks at. I give a voice to the abandoned, weave stories around the insignificant, and reveal the hidden poetry of simple things.
Each text creates a fleeting encounter with a forgotten object, tells a fragment of a story, and transforms the ordinary into something meaningful.
It is an invitation to see differently, to slow down, to marvel at what usually goes unnoticed, and to give meaning back to what we no longer see.
Here are some pages of the book I am editing.
I have added photos to accompany the poems, capturing nature distorted through a mirror. The reflections transform reality, blur familiar landmarks, and reveal a new way of seeing the ordinary. Each image becomes an extension of the text, a poetic reinterpretation of the world around us
